CAMP EVANGELISTS


Camp Evangelist - Rev. David Gallimore
Rev. David Gallimore is a pastor and evangelist who has held hundreds of evangelistic meetings in America. His International Ministries has conducted missionary outreach in Africa, Russia, Ukraine, Romania, and the Islands of the Caribbean. David is a gifted communicator who bridges the gap between the revival days of old and the modern day multi-sensory worship era. He and his wife, Tammy, make their home in Eatonton, Georgia. David will share in the Eastman Tabernacle through camp and teach a seminar Monday through Friday at 2:30 PM.

 

Camp Evangelist - Rev. Dave Engbrecht
Returning to Brown City Camp is Rev. Dave Engbrecht, Senior Pastor of Nappanee Missionary Church. Under his pastoral leadership since 1979, the Nappanee Missionary Church has completed seven building programs and now averages around 2700 in worship attendance. Dave has been a popular speaker at numerous retreats, conferences,
camps in North America, and has ministered in India, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Kenya, Canada, Russia and Finland. He graduated with a BA from Vennard College, University Park, Iowa and obtained his Masters from Concordia College, Seward, Nebraska. Pastor Dave and his wife, Christy, have two married children and four grand-children. Dave will be preaching in the Eastman Tabernacle and will also conduct a seminar Monday through Friday at 2:30 PM.
 

Worship - Jon & Jodi Sherry
Rev. Jon and Jodi Sherry are this year’s worship leaders. The Sherrys have extensive experience leading worship in churches and at camps. Jon has a degree in church music from Bethel College and has served on staff at several Missionary Churches. In 2007, the Sherrys accepted a call to become Senior Pastor at the Open Door Missionary Church, Sandusky, MI.
 

Special Music - The Collingsworth Family
The Collingsworth Family will share a special inspirational concert of music and worship on Sunday, August 3 at 2:30 PM in the Eastman Tabernacle. They will also perform a mini-concert that evening at 7:00 PM. The Collingsworth Family is a nationally known recording group who has been performing before audiences for over 20 years. Their constant, persistent attention to cutting-edge arranging, musical excellence, and a proper balance of spiritual emphasis are the keys to success God has helped them tap. The Collingsworth Family recently, at the personal invitation of Bill & Gloria Gaither, appeared on the newest Homecoming Series filmed at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN.

YOUTH SPEAKERS
 

 

Senior High
Jeremiah Bolich returns to Brown City Camp and will share with the senior high students. Born and raised in Indiana, Jeremiah graduated from Olivet Nazarene University (IL). He is married to Karenda, and his family travels around the country sharing the good news of Jesus reproducing His life through the believer.
 

Junior High
Junior High speaker, Ryan Green, was born and raised in “Sweet Home Alabama.” After graduating high school he enlisted in the United States Navy where he spent the next six years of his life, including service in Iraq. He ministers in his local church as a youth pastor and a small group leader. He is married to Kylie.

CHILDREN’S WORKERS
 

Two and Three Year Olds
Heather Marshall directs the daily 10:00 AM program for the 2 and 3-year old children in the Sunshine Tabernacle (the Old Cafeteria). Heather is from the Lamotte Missionary Church. Marcy Wagley, from the Colonial Woods Missionary Church, Port Huron, conducts the nightly program for this age group at 7:00 PM.

 

Four Year Olds & Kindergardeners
Nancy Wheeler leads the daytime program for children ages 4 through kindergarten at the Bassett Tabernacle next to the playground. Nancy and her late husband traveled for 27 years as children’s evangelists, conducting “Kids’ Krusades.” Nancy lives in Mount Morris, Michigan.
 

Primary Kids
Primary age evangelists, Dale and Laura Gilbert, are the founders and directors of Lighthouse Children’s Ministries. For the last 12 years, they have ministered to children throughout the United States and Canada conducting summer camps and outreaches. The Gilberts use worship, puppets, interactive stories and drama to bring the Gospel to children of all ages.

Junior Kids
Returning as Junior age workers are Paul and Jessica
Dietzel. The Dietzels travel throughout America sharing God’s love. They incorporate music and chalk art into their high-energy Gospel presentations. Paul and Jessica serve as Children’s Pastors at the Freedom Center in Fenton, MI.
