Sr. High Speaker ~ Dan Smith
Picture
Dan didn’t grow up in a religious home. Born and raised in Toledo, Ohio his family literally never went to church, which gives him a pretty unique perspective on faith. When he was 15 years old, Dan became a follower of Jesus through church camp. Ever since then, he has always had a passion for Jesus, Christian camps, & students. In 2005, Dan led the team that started Momentum Christian Church in Greater Cleveland, OH. He has a Master of Arts in Storytelling from East Tennessee State University. Dan serves as chaplain for local police & fire departments, and he regularly travels the country to preach & rap about Jesus.

Youth Worship Leader ~ Chris Lehane

Picture
Chris is the Worship Pastor at Wakarusa Missionary Church in Wakarusa, IN. He lives in Goshen, IN with his wife, Rose, and his four daughters: Jordyn, Kara, Madilyn and Taylor. Chris graduated from Bethel University and has served in ministry in Northern Indiana focused in Student, Young Adult and Worship ministries. Chris has led worship in all different types of settings and sizes but some of his favorite times are leading students in worship at student camps, retreats, and conferences like DISCOVER Conference. Chris grew up attending Brown City Camp as a student since middle school and has a deep appreciation for the ministry of Brown City Camp. His heart’s desire as a worship leader is to help people connect and experience God in a real and authentic way through worship.

Christian is originally from Youngstown Ohio and attended Bethel College where he graduated in 2015 with a degree in Ministry. He then was hired at St Mark Missionary Church in Mishawaka, Indiana as the Youth Pastor where he served for 10 years. He is now a Campus pastor for a church he and his wife planted in April of 2025. Christian has been married to his wife Abby for 11 years and he has 4 children Anjelica (12) Lazaro (11) Judah (3) Bo (1).
All Youth, when you arrive at camp:
  1. Check-in at the Registration Office.
  2. Check-in at the Youth Office to have parent sign registration form.
  3. Attend all youth services and participate in activities.
There is no youth program fee.
The Camp Board increased lot fees that made it possible to remove daily program fees for youth. We felt the program fee was a potential road block for some and want all youth to be at Brown City Camp. We also strongly encourage your local churches to sponsor the cost of staying in the dorms & meals. Many local Missionary Churches have scholarships, please check with your church.
